Canada Lighting Supplies Inc. (“CLS”, “we”, “us”) is a federally registered Canadian corporation operating from 604 Edward Avenue, Unit 16, Richmond Hill, ON · L4C 9Y7. This policy describes how we handle personal information in compliance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.

• Account & order data — name, billing/shipping address, email, phone, business number (for trade accounts), payment metadata (we do not store full card numbers — those live with our PCI-compliant processor).
• Site usage — IP address, browser, page-view events, referral source, and the contents of any forms you submit.
• Trade applications — business name, role, project type, and any documentation you upload in support of a trade-tier request.

• To fulfil and ship your orders.
• To respond to quote, spec or support requests.
• To verify trade eligibility and apply tier pricing.
• To send transactional emails (order confirmations, ship notifications, RMA updates).
• To send marketing email only if you opt in.
• To detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse and security incidents.
• To meet legal, tax and audit obligations.

• Carriers (Purolator, FedEx, Canada Post, Day & Ross, Manitoulin, Polaris) — name, address, phone and order weight, strictly to deliver your shipment.
• Payment processor — Stripe / Moneris, who handle card data under PCI DSS Level 1.
• Email and analytics providers — Postmark for transactional mail, Plausible for privacy-friendly analytics (no third-party cookies, no cross-site tracking).
• We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone, ever.

Order and tax records: 7 years (CRA requirement). Account profiles: until you ask us to delete them. Marketing-list subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Site analytics: 12 months, then aggregated.

You can ask us to:

• Confirm what personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your account and associated data (subject to legal retention above).
• Export your data in a portable format.
